As the Asian American Association, we are here to promote and provide opportunities to the communities of Miami University and Oxford, Ohio for education and discussion regarding Asian and Asian-American history, culture, and issues. Our mission is to bring different communities together, attract and create allies for Asian Americans regardless of background, and to be a voice for the Asian American community at Miami University.

Common Thread is a student-led service organization at Miami University dedicated to creating comfort and connection through handmade tie blankets for hospice patients at Cleveland Clinic Akron General.
Our mission is to bring warmth, dignity, and a sense of care to individuals at the end of life, while fostering a compassionate, community-minded space for students. We meet regularly to make blankets, build friendships, and partner with local organizations to support our mission. No sewing skills required, just a willingness to make a difference, one knot at a time.

Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, founded by Dr. William Bagley in 1911 at the University of Illinois, was established to foster excellence in education and promote fellowship among those dedicated to teaching. The founders chose the name from the Greek words to represent knowledge, duty, and power.

We host discussions on current issues or historical events in Palestine in order to raise awareness and bring about action. We also hold larger events and film/show viewings in order to educate members on Palestinian culture and issues.

We host a free pancake breakfast on a beautiful October morning and invite participants to donate to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Every year, we strive to serve as many pancakes as possible to hundreds of members of both the Miami and Oxford communities, while enjoying entertainment from around the area. We are a Team Fox event that is supported by the Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF). However, our event survives on donations. Although our corporate sponsorship footprint continues to grow, the majority of our donations come from friends and family who also have a passion for fighting this disease. We strive to create a friendly environment that highlights the joys of philanthropy. Our mission is simple: we want to encourage others to get educated about Parkinson’s and help fight for a cure through charitable donations and actions.

The Social Work Club will provide a welcoming environment for all students who are either Social Work majors, curious about the field, or in a related major. The club will engage students through building community, education, and hands-on experiences that include volunteerism and advocacy. Students will be a part of a friendly community where they can meet other students who have similar interests and a desire to make a difference.

The Alexander Hamilton Society (AHS) is an independent, non-partisan, not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting constructive debate on basic principles and contemporary issues on foreign, economic, and national security policy of the United States. Our Mission is to engage with people about Foreign Policy, political developments globally, and to discuss the role of the United States of America in this ever changing global world. AHS is a membership organization—not a think tank or an advocacy group. We seek to build a national network of outstanding students, faculty, and professionals, we sponsor debates at colleges and universities, as well as in major cities, and provide other opportunities for our members to flourish intellectually and professionally. Members of the Alexander Hamilton Society receive many benefits for becoming members. They have the ability to network with professionals from the D.C. area and across the country multiple times a semester. While also having these professionals from the public and private sector give their insights on the current state of a political situation or conflict, and providing their opinions on the U.S. approach to these situations. We are the one stop shop for all things foreign policy, international relations, and geopolitics! New members will get to meet with a like minded group of people who wish to learn, discuss, and debate with one another about the current flashpoints and disputes we see in the world along with where America's role and responsibilities lay.
