The American Conservation Coalition is changing the narrative on environmental discussions by promoting a mix of market-based, pro-business, and limited-government environmentalism in legislatures, college campuses, the political arena, and beyond. The Miami Branch of the American Conservation Coalition will specifically do these things on campus to prepare students with the ability and knowledge to act on environmental issues within their values, whether that be on the political spectrum, through legislation, service, or in any way connected to their personal goals. Our intended methods of action include but are not limited to; volunteer activities, educational seminars, social campaign events, creative outreach, and collaboration with other student organizations that align with our values. We will do all this for the protection of our environment so that current and future generations may enjoy a clean Earth without having to deviate from their desired lifestyle.

The AMSA chapter at Miami University has two primary goals as a pre-professional body: to build the resumes of its members by providing community service opportunities and to provide exposure and interactions with individuals involved in the medical field such as physicians, medical students, and admission committee representatives. Guided by the fundamental principles of the American Red Cross and its mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers, the American Red Cross club will learn, practice, and exemplify humanitarian values through mission-related service projects. The purpose of the organization is to provide an uplifting environment for like-minded students to come together and give back to the community through three mission-related service projects per year. With the nature of the American Red Cross, the service projects will focus on blood, fundraising, education and preparedness, International Humanitarian Law, and social engagement. Additionally, the American Red Cross club of Miami University will host interactive events for all members to contribute to, in order to collaborate with one another in a fun atmosphere, while also working alongside the Southern Ohio coordinators of the American Red Cross to give back to the organization.

Founded in 1880 as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, today's ASME is a 120,000-member professional organization focused on technical, educational and research issues of the engineering and technology community. Today we all find ourselves charging headlong into the 21st Century with the effects of our technology surrounding and enveloping us. Now, more than ever before, we all have a stake in understanding how our technology works, and where it may take us -- so that we might lead it rather than it lead us.

While students must be enrolled in an approved engineering degree program to join the national ASME organization, this is not a requirement for joining the Miami University student section. We encourage everyone to join, believing that by increasing the variety of viewpoints and perspectives of our membership, we will enhance the overall level of quality and creativity in everything that we do. Remember, ASME is "more than just mechanical".

Amicus Curiae Pre-Law Society was formed over a decade ago by Miami students who had a passion for pursuing a career in law. This organization aims to bring together pre-law students on Miami's campus and prepare them for what is ahead. Biweekly meetings consist of speakers, ranging from Administrative Law Judges to practicing attorneys in a variety of fields to law school professors to our very own Career Services staff members. Members also learn about relevant classes at Miami, the importance of networking, how to prepare a cover letter and resume that stand out, beneficial LSAT study strategies, how to choose a law school, and infinitely more. It is our hope that these meetings, our connections with one another, and our annual law school trips will give members the resources they need to move forward on the exciting journey towards a career in law.

through education and exploration. Through this organization, members will further
develop their interest in anatomy through educational activities relating to such topics,
exploration of career paths utilizing knowledge of such sciences, and socializing with
other clubs with the goal of developing outside interests, networking, and co-hosting
volunteering and fundraising events. Philanthropic projects will entail fundraising and
volunteering with the goal of supporting charitable and worthwhile causes representing
physical ailments and disorders. It is the ultimate goal of this organization that members
will continuously increase knowledge and interest in Anatomy & Physiology and science
in general. It is the executive board's mission to encourage curiosity in the sciences and
provide opportunities for members to further explore their passions in the sciences.
Member recruitment and retention will be slightly selective, but will not be exclusive to
science majors, but rather anyone who is interested in these topics. Senior members
will assist and support younger members in any way possible, such as scheduling,
testing, material mastery, as well as general sense of fellowship and camaraderie.
Candidate selection for executive board positions will be at the discretion of the present
executive board and take place every fall in order for a spring transition.
