Mission
To provide an inclusive community for LGBTQ+ and allied graduate students that advocates for the welfare of LGBTQ+ students at Miami University.
In order to achieve this mission, GSPA will:
Provide a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ graduate and professional students at Miami University.
Represent and give voice to the concerns of LGBTQ+ graduate and professional students.
Foster greater participation of LGBTQ+ students in the larger Miami University community.
Serve as a channel of communication between LGBTQ+ graduate students and other segments of the university, including faculty, administration, and staff.
Institute and encourage initiatives central to LGBTQ+ graduate student welfare at Miami University.

Mission
The Graduate Students of Color Association (GSCA) fosters community, mentorship, and advocacy for graduate students of color at Miami University. GSCA builds and sustains a supportive community, advocates for the academic, professional, and personal needs of graduate students of color and for equity and inclusion in graduate education; provides mentorship, peer support, and professional development opportunities, creates spaces for dialogue, scholarship, and cultural celebration that honor the diverse identities and experiences of members, serves as a liaison between graduate students of color and university leadership on matters of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and plans events, programs, and initiatives that enrich the graduate experience and increase the visibility of graduate students of color on campus.
