The purpose of the Psych Club organization is to provide a forum in which students with an interest in all of the social and behavioral sciences including psychological science, sociology, applied social research, anthropology, geography, political science, and more can interact with others who have similar interests. The meetings are designed to fill a number of functions including providing a way for people to get to know one another, to meet to talk about issues, to learn more information about current topics, and to get to know the Social and Behavioral Sciences faculty in a more casual environment. The Social Scientists Society abides by and supports established University policies, state and Federal laws.

The Miami University Nursing Student Association holds meetings about once a month in addition to planned events. Our aim is to support nursing students as well as promote community outreach.

Full membership is limited to current nursing students; however, we welcome pre-nursing and other interested students as adjunct members. New members may join at any time; we currently do not require students to pay dues to join! This membership provides great opportunities to develop leadership skills, grow in professionalism, and engage in local community advancement efforts.

The mission of MUH Cheer is to engage students physically, mentally, and socially, and offer an athletic opportunity to all students as well as boosting school spirit and cheering on Miami University Hamilton Basketball teams.

MUH Cheer is open to all individuals currently enrolled in classes on any campus of Miami University, regardless of the number of credits the student is carrying. Students must be registered as an official member of Miami Central to be considered an official member of the group. Members must have a 2.0 or above GPA each semester

This organization’s purpose is to foster and promote academic opportunities and creative arts at Miami University Regionals by:

Encouraging creativity in those whose voices may have traditionally gone unheard, unnoticed or unrecognized.
Recognizing the creative endeavors of traditional and nontraditional students enrolled at the Miami University Regionals (MUR) campuses.
Offering a safe haven for students of MUR regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, political affiliation, gender, etc. so that they may create and share writing, artwork, and other creative arts openly.
Exposing the campus’ population and surrounding communities to diverse, peer-written or created materials leading to a greater appreciation for the fine arts and local culture.
Offering students the opportunity to learn the technical and aesthetic elements of producing, designing and distributing a print and web-based literary publication.
Providing volunteer opportunities for students and community members to partake in artistic endeavors such as open readings, galleries, workshops, and charity work that benefits the artistic communities that are within and surround MUR. Any charities and events supported are at the discretion of the editor(s) and faculty advisor(s).
Working closely with the faculty, staff, and students of Miami University Regionals to provide a publication for academic and community use and enjoyment.
