The objective is to elevate and foster substantive engagement for career exploration. The Peer Career Coaches are a dedicated team of students who have specialized training in career development and a passion to support students on their career and professional journey. Duties include assistance in developing and critiquing resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and professional documents; facilitating in-person and virtual mock interviews and providing feedback; and conducting workshops and presentations on topics relevant to career and professional development.

OTP promotes a successful academic and social transition to college through the orientation process for new students, which includes:

The Student Transitions and Family Engagement mission is enacted through the PATHs framework. Through orientation programs and transition experiences, students will experience each of the concepts in the PATHs framework.

The University Lecture Series provides three to five lectures each year addressing different disciplines within the academic community.

Lecture Series strives to bring in speakers covering a broad spectrum of contemporary issues for the Miami University, Oxford, and Southern Ohio communities. Through a seminar, dinner, lecture, and public reception, Lecture Series provides access to the speakers for as many people as possible.
